Breville TR15 Two Slice Sandwich Toaster
I would have starved to death years ago if it were not for my Breville TR15 Two Slice Sandwich Toaster. I am not one of those people who eats three square meals a day, I am what you would call a grazer, I eat about six smallish meals throughout the course of the day.
Because of my eating pattern I am never hungry enough to eat a full-sized meal, so I am often tempted to eat a junky snack or a few packets of crisps. Being able to fix a quick and tasty toasty in my Breville sandwich maker encourages me to eat properly. I can have a filling snack which is nutritionally sound at any time of the day. It has room to make two sandwiches at once, which is the perfect light meal.
To stop the bread from sticking, spread some butter on the outside of the bread or brush olive oil directly onto the toasting plates with a pastry brush. My favourite toasty filling is cheese, pineapple and sun-dried tomatoes, with a bit of tomato puree, chopped onion and mustard to add some bite. You can also pour a beaten egg onto it before closing the machine to make a Croque Monsieur.
