Easy Sept Solution is a convenient one-step disinfecting system for soft contact lenses. It contains hydrogen peroxide which ensures safe and thorough cleansing of your lenses. I switched to using this system because I found my old method of cleansing was too time-consuming and fiddly: first rubbing each lens with soap and then rinsing them off with saline solution.

It was difficult to remove all traces of the soap and sometimes when I put my lenses in, they would sting my eyes. Also, I often found that my lenses were not completely clean. I wear monthly disposables, and by the end of the month when it was time to throw them away, they were in pretty poor shape with all kinds of protein build-up and debris attached.

Easy Sept Solution takes all the hassle out of the process. Now I simply pop my lenses into the case and fill it up with Easy Sept. The hydrogen peroxide solution begins to fizz away, cleaning my lenses and at the same time it reacts with the little silver disc in the bottom of the lens case, gradually neutralising into a gentle storage solution. My lenses are cleansed overnight and by morning the solution is mild enough that I can put the lenses directly into my eyes. My eyes have never felt cleaner.

A similar type of solution is sold in pharmacies and usually costs around £12 for a one-month supply. Easy Sept Solution costs only £8.15 for a 360 ml bottle, which lasts me for 6 weeks.
