The Martin Scorsese Collection Box Set

The Martin Scorsese Collection Box Set contains four critically acclaimed films by this esteemed director. Goodfellas teams up the always compelling Robert DeNiro and a volatile Joe Pesci and sketches out an incisive, funny and at times extremely touching portrait of Mafia culture. I love the snappy, hilarious dialogue.

After Hours is one of my favourite films, and for a long time I hadn’t realised it was directed by Martin Scorsese. Griffin Dunne stars as a New York businessman who gets lost for one terrifying night in the dark and mystifying world of SoHo. Struggling to find his way back to the world he knows, he meets some very weird and memorable characters along the way. It is surreal and hallucinatory at times.

The Martin Scorsese Collection Box Set also comprises of two of Scorsese’s lesser-known films, which are not as known in the mainstream as Taxi Driver or Mean Streets, but which are works of genius just the same. In Scorsese’s first feature film, Who's That Knocking At My Door? Harvey Keitel plays a man who finds out that his girlfriend was once raped and struggles to come to terms with this discovery.

Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore features an all-star cast and tells the story of a woman who is recently widowed and moves to Arizona with her young son, where she works in a diner and tries to start a new life.
