God of War Platinum
This visually splendid game 'God of War' is probably one of the best action/adventure games ever seen on the Playstation 2, developed by Sony Computer Entertainment, it boasts fantastic graphics, amazing characters and a phenomenal storyline.
Based on Greek mythology when the Gods were all powerful, the hero of the game Kratos (a legendary Spartan warrior) is saved by the mighty god of war Ares, while on the brink of death in battle. For his salvation he has to become Ares' slave, obliterating armies and generally doing Ares' evil destructive bidding.
When Kratos is double crossed, he swears revenge on the mighty Ares, but to do this he has to go on an amazing adventure, fighting many demons while negotiating many pitfalls in his quest to find Pandora's box, which will give him the power of the gods, then and only then can he take on his godly foe.
This game has the best bosses I have ever seen on the ps2 from Hydra the 3-headed dragon, to the mighty Cerebus, Minotaurs, Cyclops and much much more, beware the gorgons too they can turn you to stone with there glare.
The God of War game boasts so much and is guaranteed to keep you hooked for hours on end, its a bit violent hence the 18 certificate and it can be difficult in places, but believe me its so rewarding to get to the end.
As this game is now very fairly priced, if you haven't played this and you want a great fun time battling demons and feeling like a spartan warrior, crushing demons with your trusty blades of chaos this is the game for you.
