As an owner of two lovely male cats (I love them, but boy are they whiffy), I have tried and tested loads of different branded cat litters. In the past I have tried clumping litter, non-clumping litter, tried mixing clumping with non-clumping litter, both cheap and expensive brands,

I've also tried odour absorbing and neutralising powders - you name it, I have tried it! Nothing ever seems to get rid of that very obvious cat smell. That is, until I found Catsan Litter.

These white odourless granules, made form fine chalk and quartz sand, act like a sponge which are incredibly absorbent and really effective at eliminating odour. We noticed the difference immediately.

My Bengal is very fussy about the litter tray; if he doesn't like it he won't use it! and I don't like that... but he loves this stuff. As soon as I have changed it, he races in, paws about for a while then does the business – his personal sign of approval.

The bag says to change it once a week but with two cats, one of which that is very picky, I had to change it every other day. Catsan lasts a lot longer as it stays cleaner and can get away with changing it maybe one or two times a week instead. It comes in five, ten and twenty litre sizes. I normally get the ten litre bag and it lasts about two weeks or so. It is really easy to change too. It won't stick to the tray like clumping litter does and there is very little dust output.
